Carlos Radhame Pichardo better known as “Papito” was born in 1968 in Tamboril, Dominican Republic.  In 1986, Papito started his career in the cigar industry working in well known companies like La Fuente, Davidoff, La Flor Dominicana, Tabacalera Hatuey and so forth.  He acquired over 30 years of knowledge and experience  on  the manufacturing of cigars, the purchasing and cultivation of good quality tobacco . Due to knowing so much about the cigar business he decided to start his own manufacturing  company in 1992 called “Tabacalera Profeta”, where he would sell his finished product to other  business. In 2014, after many years of producing quality cigars for his high demanding clients; He decided to create his own  two blends and sell them under his own label currently known as Profeta and Tapao.
